This is an exciting arena for printng onto garments provided you have reasonable volumes and the multiple colour layups and even full colour litho process can be applied to printing of designs gving the customer a wide choice in matched pantone colours with every design.
The advantage of digital print is the clarity in the finished print and accurate registration of multiple coloured designs which is more difficult to attain with screen printing and of course pantone matching of corporate logos.
Digital prints are applied using a industrial heat press and therefore not suitable for heat sensitive materials. There are no screens involved but a minimum order of 100 prints is required to make the design cost effective.
Digital prints are availble for single colour to full process colour and are suitable for applications to Cotton, Polycotton, Polyester, Nylons and some coated materials.
